The app uses your camera to scan QR codes on the badges but does not take any pictures or submit any images to Minnesota Section IFT.

The only data that is transferred via the internet is when you upload your badge scan information. It will send the booth code, booth number, scanner name, badge ID, rating and comment for each badge scan to mnift.org so you can later download your leads in an Excel spreadsheet.
